Focus on the PCB industry, industrial robots show their talents. Date:2016.3.28
Just last year in 2015, topics such as Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, Big Data, and China Manufacturing continued to ferment, and the automation and intelligent modes of the electronics industry were constantly being refreshed. Under the guidance of the "Made in China 2025 Plan", in 2016 the electronics market will have more intelligent, diversified and highly efficient electronic manufacturing solutions to present industries, industries, automobiles, consumer electronics, smart homes, data terminals, and photovoltaic displays. Both will be seen as new highlights of the electronics manufacturing market in 2016. Among them, industrial robots were first used in the automobile manufacturing industry, and their application range was very wide. With the development of robot technology, the automotive industry is still an industry with a high density of industrial robots. In fact, the PCB industry (printed circuit board) requires a higher accuracy of the robot and a relatively high degree of work complexity compared to the welding, painting, and handling of automotive production processes. As the company insists on deepening the high-end manufacturing market and is committed to building an innovative communication platform covering the whole industry chain of electronic manufacturing, the 4th NEPCON West China 2016 will be opened on June 21, 2016. It is one of the best choices for electronics manufacturers and professional buyers. The exhibition will bring together a number of world-renowned electronics manufacturing brands, high-quality presentation of equipment technologies and solutions in PCB printed circuit boards and other fields. Here we will introduce three industrial robots used in the PCB industry. 1. SCARA Robot Applied to Circuit Board Coil Inspection Process At present, there is almost no complete set of testing equipment for short-circuit coils in the multilayer board. Most of this work is done manually. Large-aperture PCB boards are manually placed on the test equipment and then turned on. The small-aperture PCB board is detected. Need to manually hold the device (probe) to detect each coil. Using the SCARA robot, the loading and unloading of the coordinating tester can be completed, and all the coils of the aperture plate can be detected at one time. For the small aperture board, the SCARA apparatus is used to perform the fixed probe, and the use is determined to use each of the probes. The coils are tested. Our equipment also effectively avoids missed inspections due to small coil apertures or large apertures during manual operation. Compared with manual operation, the detection efficiency can be significantly improved, and the quality problem caused by missed detection can be avoided. 2. DELTA robot used in small circuit board finished cartoning process At present, FPC loading work is generally done manually and picked up one by one and put into a plastic tray. Since the FPC is soft and thin, it is very inconvenient when it is time. Even experienced workers are very inefficient in accomplishing this task. Delta800 Plus The last vision system can pick out qualified from the messy FPC stack and place it on the plastic tray as required, which is no less effective than manual. Its speed can reach 60 pieces/min, which can completely replace the manual sorting and loading. This saves valuable labor resources and reduces the cost of the company. 3. 6-axis industrial robot applied to AOI inspection process Traditional AOI scanning machines rely on manual imitation, copying, and closing. A worker takes care of the two scanning machines and repeats this monotonous work every day. The newly manufactured circuit board also emits a pungent odor. Inflicting some damage on the human body, the infrared light emitted by the AOI scanning machine is also an invisible killer. All of these are harmful to the health of the workers. The use of multi-joint robots replaces the AOI's placing, flapping, and closing of the two AOIs. The board can complete the retracting of more than 700 PCB hard boards per shift, and the overall efficiency can reach 1 block/min (including the AOI machine scan time). In the future, if it is possible to further connect the loading and unloading conveyor line with the recharging and placing machine to the AGV for fixed-line transportation, the automatic production of the upper and lower processes can be realized. Industrial robots are increasingly being applied to industrial production lines due to their high degree of automation. With the continuous innovation of industrial robot technology, robots can also ensure high precision during high-speed production, which makes robots able to Make a difference in the PCB industry. This year's NEPCON West China 2016 also opened up a new PCB exhibition area, which will become a professional event for PCB exhibitors and visitors. It will help them truly recognize the current development environment of the PCB industry, whether it is to help PCB manufacturers and equipment manufacturers to adapt to the development of the industry. Trends, enhancement of corporate competitiveness, or promotion of industrial upgrading will all have a huge boost. Source: NEPCON
